At this stage, I could ramble on for ages about all kinds of crap that no one is interested in (like some users...), but there really isn't any point because no one cares. If anyone really did care, they could just ask a simple question, and get an answer.
Long story short, I live in Kent, a.k.a. The Garden of England. I originate from India, specifically from the coastal town/city of Mangalore. The photo on the left was taken there in December 2003. That's about it.
London is the greatest city in the world, and that's why I created the London Portal. It is now a featured portal, and (at present) is almost entirely run by me. If you love London half as much as me, please contact me and help maintain the focal point of a web of articles.
ALSO, please VOTE for next month's featured pages for the London Portal. Vote for either:
This user is a Wikipedian in the United Kingdom. The motto of the WITUK is Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense, which translates to, "Let him be shamed who thinks ill of it".
This motto reflects a key Wikipedian desire, and is a reference to the British 'Order of the Garter'.
Person A makes a beneficial edit and posts the reasons why on the discussion page.
Without discussion or consulting the history, Person B decides that it is smart and intelligent to revert 3 hours of work for absolutely no reason.
THEN, Person B decides to read the discussion. And, surprise, surprise, decides to change his edits anyway. Because he discovers that his edits were completely pointless.
Person A is not happy with Person B because he did something that was clear, well-reasoned and defintely not wrong, and Person B's actions made it a waste of time. In the time Person A spent improving pages linked to the template, he could have created other pages for Wikipedia like Portal:London, or continued improvements in one of 5 WikiProjects.
Just like in all fair systems, Person A gets blocked although he was right. Who wins? Nobody.
Good system.
Oh yeah - Person A is me and Person B is some idiot.
