Port au Port (electoral district)

Port au Port is a provincial electoral district for the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Port au Port East and Port au Port West are two very small towns on either side of an isthmus known as "The Gravels" which joins the Port au Port Peninsula to the west coast of the island of Newfoundland. Port au Port East was incorporated in 1952 and has a population of 500-600.

The town council is headed by mayor Neil Duffy and the coucillors are Percy Blackmore, Eileen Hann, Tommy Cole and Gordon Johnston. The town clerk is Joanne Ryan. The town has a post office, gas station/convenience store, bar, plumbing shop, saw mill and in house hair dressing salon.
