Rohan Davey
Rohan Davey (born April 14, 1978 in Clarendon, Jamaica) is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL. Selected out of LSU with the 19th pick of the 4th round of the 2002 NFL draft, Davey is considered by some a promising talent with a strong arm, good size for a QB (6'2" 245 lbs), and nice mobility. He showed potential in 2004 in NFL Europe as player of the year while winning the World Bowl for the Berlin Thunder. In the NFL, however, he has struggled in the few opportunities he has gotten backing up Tom Brady. In preseason games, his throwing has been particularly inaccurate and TD passes rare. This year he lost his back-up job to Doug Flutie and could not play to the level of 7th Round pick, Matt Cassel. He was released by the Patriots on August 29, 2005, and signed with the Cardinals on September 28, 2005.
