Urano Bacelar

General Urano Teixeira da Matta Bacellar was a Brazillian soldier. In August 2005 he was selected to lead MINUSTAH, the UN peacekeeping force in Haiti, replacing fellow Brazillian General Augusto Heleno Ribeiro. Bacellar was found shot dead in his hotel room, in Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince, on January 7, 2006.
