Rom is a fictitious character in the Star Trek universe, played by Max Grodénchik on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He's the son of Keldar and Ishka, brother of Quark, and father of Nog.

Born around 2335, Rom lacks the business acumen typically associated with Ferengis, he doesn't have the "lobes". But he has a knack for fixing things, and he left his job as a waiter and stock boy at Quark's bar at Deep Space Nine, to become a Bajoran maintenance/repair diagnostician, junior grade, on the station. His first wife Prinnadora bore him Nog, but she stayed behind on Ferenginar while he went to Deep Space Nine. The marriage was later dissolved and Rom married Leeta, a dabo girl at Quark's bar. In 2375, Rom succeeded Zek as Grand Nagus of the Ferengi.
