Marshall Crenshaw (born November 11 1953) is an American musician and guitarist.

Crenshaw was born in Berkley near Detroit, learning to play the guitar from an early age. He was a member of the band ASTIGAFA between 1969 and 1974 before forming his own band.

He also played the part of Buddy Holly in the 1997 film La Bamba and has written music for television and film.
