Template:Spoiler The episode begins with Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy entering the Krusty Krab (most likely for lunch). After they order (with B.B. covering the tab with $5.00, since all Mermaid Man had was a Carpenter's Nut), all Squidward says is, "Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy," and SpongeBob goes right through a steel wall and into a frenzy in order to get Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy's autograph. Meanwhile, Mermaid Man accidentally leaves his utility belt at the Krusty Krab after he & Barnacle Boy manage to get away from SpongeBob. SpongeBob finds the utility belt and he tries to give it back, but M.M. & B.B. drive off. So, SpongeBob decides to play with the belt. He discovers its "Shrink Ray", so he starts shrinking the kitchen stuff. Squidward discovers the belt, and decides to call M.M. SpongeBob shrinks him. Later, he asks Patrick for help. He suggests to set the belt to W for Wumbo. SpongeBob, unaware of what "Wumbo" is, questions the validity of this, in response, patrick explains the many uses of "Wumbo" ("...I wumbo; you wumbo; he, she, me wumbo...wumbology: the science of wumbo,"). Finally convinced, SpongeBob then presses the button, with hilarious concewuences: As he does it, Patrick shrinks. Seconds later, people start coming and saying hello to SpongeBob, and he shrinks them too. He puts them in a small jar. Then, he finds out that M.M. and B.B. became small too, so he asks them how to unshrink the people in the jar. M.M. asks him if he set it to Wumbo. Everybody gets out of the jar, and go inside SpongeBob and start disfiguring him (kicking his bones, messing with his internal organs, etc.). SpongeBob shrinks Bikini Bottom because he couldn't unshrink the other citizens. Then, he shrinks himself. Later, Plankton gets out of a bus and gets shocked at what he sees.
