Star Trek Legacy is the working title of a game in development by Mad Doc Software unofficially annouced on January 13, 2006. Star Trek Legacy: A New Frontier is a New Star Trek game announced on Janurary 13th, 2006, for PC and X Box 360
Very little information is known about this game at the moment, however at this moment in time we know that the game is going to be a RTS/Action Game, and is being Developed by Mad Doc Software.
Bethesda Softworks will Publish the Game.
This game will mark the re-birth of the Star Trek Gaming Franchise, after a long void with no Trek Games, due laregly to the Activision/Viacom Lawsuit Last Year.
Gameplay
Setting
What will single player be like The three era's - Enterprise, The Original Series and The Next Generation make up the single player campaign. In each era you play the Federation against the Romulans (ENT), Klingons (TOS) and the Borg Collective (TNG). The Next Generation era also includes Deep Space Nine and Voyager.
What is the storyline
The story ties in with the events seen in The Next Generation episode "Contagion". Prior to the discovery of the portal in that episode a Vulcan archaelogist by the name of Sovak attempts to bring about a utopia of logic and uses the Iconian technology to try to achieve, what he believes, is a noble cause. Things go from bad to worse when the Borg assimilate the Iconian technology and it requires every captain from every era together to defeat the 'Iconian-Borg abomination'.

Combat
Combat for the game will esentially be a variant on a 3D Space battle, simmilar in style to Star Trek: Bridge Commander however it is not yet fully known if the game will be on an horizonal plane (like Starfleet Command) or be fully three dimensional (like Star Trek: Bridge Commander.
