The Bundesliga (federal league) is the name for the premier league of any sport in Austria and Germany. Used on its own, Bundesliga usually refers to Germany's premier football league.

The Bundesligas (federal leagues) are, in Germany and Austria, the elite sporting competitions (leagues) in a given Sport. Among other things it gives football, handball and Basketball. Usually, the Bundesliga determines the German champions (and/or Austrian champions). Below the bundesliga level are, depending upon kind of sport, 2nd Bundesligas or regional leagues, as the second division of competition.
