Greenhill School is a co-educational day school located in Addison, Texas. Founded in 1950, Greenhill now has an enrolment of over 1,200 students, from grades preschool through high school. As the region’s first co-educational independent school, Greenhill prides itself on providing quality education in an open learning community.

Greenhill's purpose

Greenhill School is a diverse community of learners that strives for excellence; values individuality; fosters a passion for learning; promotes the balanced development of mind, body, and character; encourages service; and instills a respect for others.

Greenhill life

Greenhill encourages student growth through the opportunities that students have to form close relationships with the faculty. Students engage the faculty both in and out of the classroom, providing freedom of discussion in all areas. The average SAT's for seniors in 2004 were 650 verbal and 635 math[1], and all of its graduates go on to attend college.

Greenhill is the only premiere private school in Dallas without a school uniform or religious affiliation.

The Greenhill mascot is the hornet, and the school colors are green and gold.

Since the school's move to its current campus at Spring Valley and Midway Rd., the campus has also been the home to a large number of peacocks who roam freely amongst the students.
