Apuseni Mountains

The Apuseni Mountains is a mountain range in Transylvania, Romania, which belongs to the Western Carpathians. Their name translates from Romanian as Mountains "of the sunset" i.e. "western". The highest peak is "Cucurbata Mare" (1849 metres).
