The text at Helga Zepp-LaRouche seems to come from a copyrighted web page. Do you have permission to publish it under the GFDL? Thue 11:37, 1 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Thue, I appreciate your alerting me to the fact that I had violated plagiarism guidelines on my article on Helga Zepp-LaRouche. I hope you are satisfied with my new article.

I discovered that another article I was editing, on JINSA, was pretty much entirely taken verbatim from the JINSA website (http://www.fact-index.com/j/ji/jinsa.html). Is there a procedure for reporting this? Thanks -- User:Herschelkrustofsky

The procedure for reporting copyright problems is detailed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems. But in the case of JINSA it is a false alarm; at the bottom of http://www.fact-index.com/j/ji/jinsa.html it says: This article is from Wikipedia. All text is available under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License. You might want to read the GFDL (which wikipedia is covered by) too. Note that this means that the copyrightholder of a work, like text, (you are the copyright holder if you have written the text) must agree to the terms of the GFDL before the text can be used in wikipedia.
The new article at Helga Zepp-LaRouche seems good. Note that I don't know much about her, so I can't check the facts, only that the presentation looks ok.
Could you also make sure we have the copyright owners permission to use the context at Image:SilkRoadLady.jpg, Image:Amelia.jpg, and Schiller Institute? You would want to leave a comment at Wikipedia:Copyright problems where the articles are currently listed.
I hope this doesn't discourage you from contributing to wikipedia! Thue 15:39, 1 Jun 2004 (UTC)
