The 3DO Interactive Multiplayer, usually referred to as the Panasonic 3DO, is a video game console released in 1993 by Panasonic. It was revolutionary at the time: 32-bit, CD-ROM drive, expansion ports, etc, and commanded a lot of repsect hardware wise. Unfortunately plauged by truely some of the worst games ever created, a high price (roughly $800 ar release), and the inability of the console market to support multiple consoles put it in an early grave.
