Ekiga
Appearance
Ekiga (formely known as GnomeMeeting) is an open source VoIP and video conferencing application for GNOME. Ekiga uses both the H.323 and SIP protocols. It supports many audio and video codecs, and is interoperable with other SIP compliant software and also with Microsoft NetMeeting.
Ekiga was initially written by Damien Sandras in order to graduate from the Université catholique de Louvain. Ekiga is currently developed by a community-based development team lead by Damien Sandras.

Future
At the moment Ekiga is under development and a stable version is expected to be released along with GNOME 2.14. The networking part is going through a radical rewrite. An important feature that is currently developed is SIP support.
