The Gods of the Orkoid species in the Warhammer 40K and Orc in the Warhammer Fantasy fantasy universes are refered to only as Gork and Mork.

The differences between the two deities in Warhammer 4000 are slight: One hits you while you aren't looking, and one hits you while you are. They are also generally separated as follows: One is mean, and the other is meaner. Which one of the two gods is the first and the second is a source of much debate and conflict among their worshippers, and a considerable number of wars between Orks have been fought over that topic. In the Warhammer Fantasy universe of the Old World, the difference is more delineated with Gork being the god of strength (a popular phrase among Warhammer Fantasy enthusiasts is "Gork SMASH") while Mork is the god of cunning and is associated with magic.

The Orkoid species is believed to be a product of ancient genetic engineering to make them the perfect warrior race, and thus the deities they worship are beings dedicated to war. Both Gork and Mork are believed to help individual Orks in battle, but which deity an individual Ork chooses to worship seem to be of little consequence in the larger scheme of things.

In the Games Workshop wargame Gorkamorka, Orks are divided into 'Gorkas' and 'Morkas', depending on which god they worship. The difference is summed up as follows: "Gorkas are brutal but cunning, and Morkas are cunning but brutal."
