Rodney Begnaud (born on October 12, 1970 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a professional wrestler. He previously worked for World Wrestling Entertainment as a performer for its RAW and SmackDown! brands.

Career

Rodney started wrestling in 1998 as Red Dogg in the Southwest independents. He then was signed by the WWE to wrestle in Ohio Valley Wrestling and he changed his name to Red Dog Begnaud.

When he made his debut in WWE, he went by simply 'Redd Dogg' on the SmackDown! brand. He was placed alongside John Cena in an enforcer role, but didn't last long in that role before he was switched over to Raw and renamed Rodney Mack, with no on-screen explanation.

On Raw, he was managed by Theodore Long and often competed in "White Boy Challenges". In these challenges, usually, a caucasian wrestler would wrestle Mack for five minutes and attempt to beat Mack. He was undefeated in these matches until he was challenged and defeated by Goldberg.

A few months later manager Theodore Long announced a new tag team partner for Mack. He was the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry. Mack and Henry competed as a team for about a month and were fairly successful and caused some upsets over some household WWE tag teams.

In November of 2003, he suffered a knee injury, which prevented him from wrestling. Begnaud was supposed to return to action between March and June 2004, but was sent back to Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Rodney was a mainstay on RAW's sister show Sunday Night HEAT.

WWE has since released Mack from his contract. In 2005, Rodney can be found competing in the independents of the Southwest.

In late 2005, Rodney Mack and Jazz opened up Dirtysouth Championship Wrestling. An independent promotion based in Louisiana.
