Simon Belmont

Simon Belmont is perhaps the most prominent and recognized of the heroes from the video game series, Castlevania. He has starred in at least six different games, five of which are remixes of the same events.

He lived in the late 1690s and on. In 1691, his adventures began when the residents of Transylvania sought the current Belmont to fight the Count Dracula. However, many years later in 1698, he had to rid himself of a curse put upon him by Dracula, and then had to fight Drac yet again, because he wasn't quite dead.

His great-grandfather is Christopher Belmont, who may be the son or grandson of Trevor Belmont.
