In the anime television series Inuyasha, Juuromaru is one of Naraku's detachments; he is introduced wearing chains and a metal mask. After the chains and mask are removed he attacks Naraku's doppleganger before attacking Inuyasha. During the fight it is discovered that Kageromaru resides in Juuromaru's stomach and was released after the mask was removed.
