Most DTNG episode titles come from song names, both modern and past hit songs, hinting at Degrassi's popularity in the modern age, as well as the popularity of the Degrassi shows in the 80s.

101 Mother and Child Reunion Part 1 Paul Simon Christine "Spike" Nelson is all grown up, and her daughter Emma, born during Degrassi Junior High is now 12 and attending Degrassi herself. It's time for the 10 year reunion of the original Degrassi crew, and familiar faces Archie (Snake) Simpson, Joey Jerimah, Catlin Ryan and even principal Radich are in attendance. Meanwhile, Emma has met a boy online who is as passionate about saving the environment as she is, and she is excited at the prospect of meeting him in person. Excited enough to meet him alone.
102 Mother and Child Reunion Part 2 Paul Simon Emma's best friend Manny is worried about her and thinks she might have gone off to meet the boy she met on the internet alone. With the help of Toby, their computer geek friend, they break into Emma's email and find out that she has indeed gone to meet him. They rush to the hotel where he was staying with Spike and Snake, fearing the worst. Meanwhile, Emma has found herself alone in a hotel room with an older man who is definitely not the 14 year old boy he purported to be. He starts stroking her leg and then Snake busts in before anything horrible can happen, and nearly takes the guy down himself, furious with anger. Spike wants to chide Emma, but more than anything is happy to have her baby back safe.
103 Family Politics Toby and Ashley feud at home and even at school during elections. Meanwhile Manny and Emma seem to be picked on at school.
104 Eye of the Beholder Metallica Terri gets drunk before the school dance and gets in trouble. Meanwhile JT and Toby look at pornography on the internet.
105 Parents' Day Toby is embarrassed about his parents coming to parents' day due to their fighting. Meanwhile Paige and Ashley compete for a career in Hollywood.
106 The Mating Game Ash and Jimmy want to take the next step. But they are too young so they decide not to. Meanwhile Toby develops a crush and his heart gets crushed by her.
107 Basketball Diaries Jimmy will do anything to get on the basketball team, even take Ritalin to improve his speed. Meanwhile Liberty wants to be on the news, much to Ash's dismay.
108 Secrets and Lies Ash gets thrown into a black hole soon after finding out that her dad is gay. Meanwhile JT will do anything to get rid of Liberty-even tell her he's gay!
109 Coming of Age Jimmy turns 14 and Ash isn't sure of their relationship. Meanwhile Emma gets her period for the very first time, is unprepared, and somehow manages to get through the day thanks to help from her friend Manny and Paige who provided her with a pad.
110 Rumors and Reputations Liberty is distraught after a rumor about her and Mr. Armstrong getting "friendly" spreads throughout the school. Meanwhile Spinner is determined to prove the cafeteria is infested with bugs.
111 Friday Night Jimmy and Spinner are going to take revenge on the wrath of Kwan. Meanwhile Emma and Sean go on their date, and it's one disaster after another.
112 Wannabe Spice Girls Manny is going to join the spirit squad while Emma attacks it. Also JT, Toby, Liberty and Spinner are ready to cash in their million dollars.
113 Cabaret Louis Armstrong or the musical/movie (Cabaret) with Liza Minnelli Terri and Paige want to perform a new more pop version of Ashley's song. Ashley hates it because she thinks that the bubble gum sound takes away from the substance and depth of it. Meanwhile Toby longing for Emma decides to perform in the talent show with her.
114 Under Pressure Queen & David Bowie Jimmy and Sean decide to fight after school with disastrous results. Meanwhile Spinner will do anything to catch the flu.
115 Jagged Little Pill Alanis Morissette Ash is tired of being perfect and drugs are exactly what she needs. Meanwhile Toby and JT enlist the help of Sean on being bad boys, who in turn replaces the Ecstasy with a vitamin pill.

201 When Doves Cry Part 1 Prince Sean and Emma meet new kid Craig. He lives with his father while his sister Angela lives with his stepdad Joey. Craig's father has forbidden him from making contact with Joey and Angela but Craig can't help himself. Craig's dad isn't happy about this and beats Craig. Craig hides his physical and emotional pain, but his friends, Sean and Emma, know something's up.
202 When Doves Cry Part 2 Prince Craig soon has to run away from home, and his secret about his abuse comes to light. Meanwhile JT gets his kiss from his date with Paige despite it being fake.
203 Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Cyndi Lauper Emma and Manny sneak into the high school 1980s dance strictly for upperclassmen. Meanwhile Spinner and Jimmy enter the breakdancing contest to win tickets to a Toronto Maple Leafs game, but don't fare well against Marco.
204 Karma Chameleon Boy George & Culture Club Now an outcast, Ash wants everyone to forgive her. Meanwhile Toby meets the girl of his dreams, Kendra, who turns out to be the sister of his worst nightmare.
205 Weird Science Oingo Boingo Emma wants to win the science fair and not a new dad. Meanwhile Spinner seems to be getting boners everywhere he goes.
206 Drive The Cars With Joey gone for the weekend, Craig, Sean, Marco and Spinner decide to take one of Joey's cars at his lot for a joy ride. Ashley decides to get a navel ring after seeing one on Ellie.
207 Shout Part 1 Tears For Fears Paige is excited that she is popular and that a cute guy from the opposing team Bardell has asked her to a a party! But things go terribly wrong when Paige realizes that Dean won't take no for an answer. Meanwhile JT is embarrassed after Liberty shows pictures of him in his youth.
208 Shout Part 2 Tears For Fears Still dealing with her rape, Paige decided to enter a music contest with Hazel, Terri and even Ash. But when the song deals with rape it doesn't look like Paige can handle it. Meanwhile Liberty wants to show JT he doesn't know anything about her.
209 Mirror in the Bathroom The English Beat Toby wants to be popular and liked, like Sean, and soon starts to make weight to be on the wrestling team so he can win. Meanwhile Terri gets teased about her weight.
210 Take My Breath Away Berlin Manny and Craig go on their first date. Meanwhile Hazel decides to go after Marco with Ellie having a secret crush.
211 Don't Believe the Hype Public Enemy Hazel is scared to have her religion revealed to the school and decides to hide it. Meanwhile JT doesn't want the fact that he can sew to come out.
212 White Wedding Part 1 Billy Idol Spike prepares for her weddings. Meanwhile Toby, JT and Craig want to hire a stripper.
213 White Wedding Part 2 Billy Idol Spike and Snake have doubts about their wedding after Spike's pregnancy. The stripper comes.
214 Careless Whisper George Michael Marco starts to discover his same-sex leanings. Meanwhile Kendra feels suffocated by Toby.
215 Hot for Teacher Van Halen JT wants to seduce Mrs. H. Meanwhile Jimmy and Spinner swear to tell the truth.
216 Message in a Bottle The Police Sean feels unwanted and starts drinking at Emma's and goes to Jimmy's party drunk. Meanwhile Jimmy looks forward to Ash's arrival at his party.
217 Dressed in Black Depeche Mode Jimmy faces a new relationship with Ash in her new goth look. Meanwhile Toby and JT buy condoms.
218 Relax Frankie Goes To Hollywood Liberty wants to be in control of the girls' hockey team. Meanwhile Terri believes Paige is dying.
219 Fight for Your Right The Beastie Boys Emma protests GM foods. Meanwhile Spinner, jealous of Jimmy's money, steals Jimmy's MP3 Player.
220 How Soon Is Now? The Smiths Paige six months later has stopped blaming herself for her rape and feels happier than ever. That is until she finds out that Bardell is coming to Degrassi and that means, Paige's rapist Dean is coming too. Meanwhile Marco and Ellie clash while working on a commercial together.
221 Tears Are Not Enough Part 1 Bryan Adams Craig has to study for finals and even gets help form his dad but things go from bad to worse after his dad hits him again and goes off driving and Craig finds out his dad got into an accident and died. Meanwhile JT gets help from Liberty.
222 Tears Are Not Enough Part 2 Bryan Adams Craig, dealing with his dad's death, surprises everyone by having no sympathy or sadness about it. Meanwhile Liberty and JT go to the dance.

301 Father Figure Part 1 George Michael Emma decides to search for her real father. However, she is shocked when she discovers where he is. Jimmy accuses Spinner of being whipped by Paige.
302 Father Figure Part 2 George Michael
303 U Got the Look Prince Manny, tired of her "innocent" image, decides to dress in a more provocative manner. She begins wearing a thong, which is visible through, due to her low-cut jeans. When reported, and confronted by the principal, she is told that her undergarments are not to be seen. In rebellion to this, Manny simply decides not to wear any underwear at all. This leads to a temporary break up in Manny and Emma's relationship, as well as JT discovering he has feelings for Manny.
304 Pride Part 1 U2 Marco comes out to his friends, While everyone else seems to be accepting, it does not sit very well with the rather homophobic Spinner. When Snake gets sick, Emma and Spike worry that it may be more serious.
305 Pride Part 2 U2 Spinner shuns Marco after he comes out. Marco almost ends up getting gay bashed by a group of thugs. Fortunately the cops and Jimmy show up in time before anything really bad happens (however Marco still gets a few cuts and bruises as a result.) At the end of the episode Marco and Spinner confront each other after Spinner tells him that it is wrong and sick. He replies "So did the bashers". When Spinner asked why he is comparing him to the bigots who attacked him Marco simply replies "Why not?" and Spinner realises the error of his prejudice.
306 Gangsta Gangsta N.W.A Sean, feeling neglected by Emma due to her stepdad Snake's cancer, starts hanging out with Jay and his group of thugs.
307 Should I Stay or Should I Go The Clash After noticing Manny's new sexy image Craig starts to feel temptations to cheat on Ashley while she's away with Ellie on a weekend trip to Montreal.
308 Whisper to a Scream SoHo Ellie deals with stress in her life (bad grades in math, her Army father being away and her alcoholic mother) in a rather destructive way by cutting.
309 Against All Odds Phil Collins Emma develops a crush on a new student named Chris. She and Manny decide to attend a rave that he is DJing at. Spinner, still not fully comfortable with Marco's sexuality, becomes convinced that he has a crush on him. Spinner, however, is hurt in a strange way when Marco tells him that he isn't really cute.
310 Never Gonna Give You Up Rick Astley Paige, Jimmy, Spinner, Hazel and Marco worry that Terri's new boyfriend Rick may be a bit controlling. Concern is raised even higher when they start to notice little bruises and cuts on her.
311 This Charming Man The Smiths Paige develops a crush on the driving instructor. Emma, still heartbroken over Sean ditching her to hang out with thugs like Jay and Alex, tries to get vindication by ratting on him and his friends for stealing
312 Holiday Part 1 Madonna It's Christmas time at Degrassi and two love triangles are brewing. Manny/Craig/Ashley and Catlin/Joey/Sidney.
313 Holiday Part 2 Madonna The Manny/Craig/Ashley triangle reaches its boiling point. Joey makes a decision regarding Sidney and Catlin.
314 Accidents Will Happen Part 1 Elvis Costello Manny starts to worry that she may be pregnant with Craig's child after missing a period and having morning sickness. (The network originally airing the series in the United States, The N, chose not to air this episode.)
315 Accidents Will Happen Part 2 Elvis Costello Ashley, still bitter over Craig cheating on her with Manny, tells the whole school about her pregnancy. Manny decides in the end to get an abortion. (The network originally airing the series in the United States, The N, chose not to air this episode.)
316 Take On Me A-Ha Five students from different social groups, Jimmy (Jock), Hazel (Preppy), Toby (Geek), Ellie (Goth) and Sean (Thug) come face to face with their conflicts with each other while serving a Saturday detention. (Inspired by the film The Breakfast Club)
317 Don't Dream It's Over Crowded House Everybody worries when Terri starts seeing Rick again. Terri claims that he has changed and is no longer abusive. Paige and Spinner, however, aren't quite as convinced.
318 Rumors and Reputations The Ramones Both Craig's band and Ashley's bands compete for a battle of the bands contest. Things hit a little to close to home for Craig when he hears that her group is planning on singing a angry, spiteful song written by Ashley (still heartbroken) about him.
319 It's Raining Men The Weather Girls Marco, now more comfortable with his sexuality, decides to ask Dylan (Paige's gay older brother whom Marco has a massive crush on) out. However, the date ends up being one mishap after another. JT, after making a TV commercial, holds a premier party. The guests, however, make fun of how corny the commercial is.
320 I Want Candy Bow Wow Wow Paige, Spinner and Ashley (still heartbroken over Craig) decide to play hookey. Emma, sick of being bullied by Alex pushes her against a locker. This leads to a massive cat fight.
321 Our House Madness Sean, angry with the idea of having to move to Alberta, gets his own place which his friends Jay and Alex decide to use for parties. This goes bad when his school work starts to suffer, and a girl gets sick from alcohol poisoning at one of the parties.
322 The Power of Love Jennifer Rush,Celine Dion,Frankie Goes To Hollywood or Huey Lewis and the News It’s an evening full of mishaps as students celebrate at the year-end dance.

Season 4

401 Ghost in the Machine Part 1 The Police Dean is found not guilty of raping Page.
402 Ghost in the Machine Part 2 The Police After Dean is let off Paige retaliates by destroying his fancy sports car.
403 King of Pain Alanis Morissette Marco decides to run for president. His challenger Alex decides to play dirty politics by threatening to out him in front of the whole school. Also in this episode Marco finally comes out to his mother. Emma wants Chris back but he seems to have moved on.
404 Mercy Street Peter Gabriel Emma starts a ribbon campaign against domestic violence after Rick hurt Terri. Meanwhile, after being embarrassed by Danny at his house, JT sees Craig in the locker room and realizes he has a small penis compared to Manny's ex, becoming insecure.
405 Anywhere I Lay My Head Tom Waits Sean asks Ellie to move in with him. The offer is very tempting to her, especially after her drunk mother embarrassed her at Parent/Teacher night. The Spirit squad holds a fundraising car wash where Spinner gets a little too friendly with Manny.
406 Islands in the Stream Dolly Parton or Kenny Rogers Paige gets a job at the local multiplex where she surprisingly finds a new friend in Alex. Social outcast Rick finds a new friend in Toby.
407 Time Stands Still Part 1 Rush Rick decides to get back at Jay and Spinner for bullying him by spray painting X's on their cars.
408 Time Stands Still Part 2 Rush Rick goes to the extremes by bringing a gun to school and causing a school shooting.
409 Back in Black AC/DC Sean can't seem to handle his new hero title. Meanwhile Toby decides whether to go to Rick's funeral.
410 Neutron Dance The Pointer Sisters Craig wants to put Ash in the band. Meanwhile Paige falls for the T.A.
411 Voices Carry Part 1 'Til Tuesday Craig wants to help with Ash's dad's wedding; Meanwhile Liberty and JT write a play.
412 Voices Carry Part 2 'Til Tuesday Craig is diagnosed bipolar. Meanwhile JT and Liberty kiss.
413 Bark at the Moon Ozzy Osbourne Manny, still haunted by the abortion, doesn't want to be in a relationship. Meanwhile Paige goes after Mr. O.
414 Secret Part 1 Heart Emma finds herself in a dark place and performs oral sex on Jay for bracelets.
415 Secret Part 2 Heart Emma finds out that she contracted gonorrhea from Jay. Meanwhile Jimmy breaks out of the hospital to go to a rock concert with Marco and Craig.
416 Eye of the Tiger Survivor Jimmy comes back to school, confined in a wheelchair. Spinner and Jimmy at first started to make their friendship be more improved, but when Spinner tells him that he and Jay were the ones that spill the paint and feathers and "say" that Jimmy did it, he turns his back on him. The next day, the whole school hates him and he loses his friends, and his girlfriend Manny. Now an outcast, he gets drunk with Jay and crashes a party for Jimmy. When he takes his keys to Joey's car, Marco tried to stop him, but he fails and gets Craig to stop him, but Spinner ignores all of them, and when he drives for about a foot, he stops when he sees Jimmy on the road. Jimmy tells him that he's dead to him, and goes back to the party. The next day, he tells Ms. Hatzilakos the whole story, and she expels him and Jay.
417 Queen of Hearts Juice Newton or Whitesnake Ever since Sean left, Ellie has struggled to pay the rent at the apartment. Her mother, now clean and sober, wants her to move back in but Ellie is still hurt about the times she angered and embarrassed her due to her drinking, and refuses. Later at lunch with Marco, Alex and Jimmy discovers that she has a knack for poker and decides to gamble for rent money. Could this help or could it dig her further into the ditch?
418 Modern Love David Bowie Paige and Matt's relationship continues, but is it worth it?
419 Moonlight Desires Gowan Marco has it all, class president, perfect grades and a perfect boyfriend whom he wants to move in with (If he can graduate early and enroll early at Dylan's college as he plans!) However his hopes are smashed when he catches Dylan making out with another guy when paying a surprise visit to his dorm at the University of Toronto
420 West End Girls Pet Shop Boys The catfight between Manny and Paige continues. Meanwhile Kevin Smith arrives.
421 Going Down the Road Part 1 Doc Watson or The Grateful Dead (Full Title is "Going Down The Road Feeling Bad") Craig is upset over Ash leaving. Meanwhile Kevin Smith comes between Joey and Cailtin.
422 Going Down the Road Part 2 Doc Watson or The Grateful Dead (Full Title is "Going Down The Road Feeling Bad") Craig has an episode with his bipolar disorder. Meanwhile Cailtin must make a tough decision.

501 Venus Part 1 Bananarama A new kid named Peter videotapes a drunk Manny flashing her breasts to the camera. Craig is hurt when he finds out that Ashley has dumped him for a new guy in London.
502 Venus Part 2 Bananarama After being rejected by Manny, Peter gets revenge by releasing the video to the whole school. This does not help Manny get rid of her already slutty reputation at Degrassi. Ellie joins Craig's band.
503 Death of a Disco Dancer The Smiths Paige and Alex smoke pot just before meeting up with a college representative.
504 Foolin' Def Leppard Liberty tells JT that she is pregnant. Spinner, still an outcast, forms an unlikely bond with Darcy.
505 Weddings, Parties, Anything Named after the Australian band Weddings Parties Anything Ellie finally comes clean to Craig about her feelings for him. Unfortunately he doesn't quite feel the same way, and tempers flare when he invites his old flame Manny to a band performance at a wedding. Joey starts dating a younger woman in her mid-20's, however, her snotty friends don't seem to look highly upon him.
506 I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For U2 Jimmy gets the chance to play professional wheelchair basketball. However, Jimmy starts to wonder if he is losing his interest in the game as he has developed a new passion for drawing. This also sparks up a flirtation with Ellie. (Much to the dismay of Hazel!)
507 Turned Out Part 1 Helmet Worried about the cost of raising a baby, JT turns to stealing and dealing prescription drugs from the drug store he works at to some of Jay's friends.
508 Turned Out Part 2 Helmet After getting into debt with some clients, JT turns to Toby for help. When that fails, he tries to kill himself with some of the pills he stole. JT survives but is put on suicide watch, and Liberty decides to give up the baby for adoption.
509 Tell It to My Heart Taylor Dayne After reaching out to a newly out gay student who was rejected by his bigoted friends, Marco decides that it is time for him to come out to his homophobic dad. When trying to plan out revenge on Peter for humiliating her best friend Manny, Emma realizes her feelings for him.
510 Redemption Song Bob Marley The students of Degrassi come together, dealing with the events of last year and Spinner deals with his own demons. Meanwhile Jimmy has two new paths in life, which will he take?
511 The Lexicon of Love Part 1 ABC Paige and Alex's friendship reaches new heights. Meanwhile Emma and Peter discover something shocking.
512 The Lexicon of Love Part 2 ABC Paige and Alex face sexuality issues. Meanwhile Emma spills the beans on what she saw at the movie.
513 Together Forever Rick Astley Craig must choose his passion or the people he loves. JT has Toby look over Liberty who soon gives birth.
514 I Against I Bad Brains Spinner and Marco argue over a controversial school issue.
515 Our Lips Are Sealed Part 1 The Go-Go's With complete chaos in the Simpson-Nelson household, Emma feels like she's losing control of everything.
516 Our Lips Are Sealed Part 2 The Go-Go's Emma has dire consequences with her way of dealing.
517 Total Eclipse Of The Heart Bonnie Tyler Marco dates Tim in an attempt to prove that he's over Dylan. But when they see each other at Paige's party, it looks like neither is ready to move on.
518 High Fidelity Part 1 Elvis Costello Spinner doesn't want to tell Darcy about his sordid sexual past with Manny, as well as other girls. When she finds out the truth about Spinner's virginity, or lack thereof, Spinner ends up running into the arms of a former girlfriend for comfort, Paige.
519 High Fidelity Part 2 Elvis Costello After a night of unexpected kissing, Spinner and Paige have some awkward moments. Spinner is ecstatic to have his old life back, with Paige as his girl and being friends with Jimmy again. But when Darcy apologizes, Spinner rethinks his return to the old. Ashley is back and Jimmy just can't stop thinking about how good it used to be with her.
