Thanks. I assume from your comments that you must have read my talk page. I was researching and hadn't updated the watchlist for a while. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 04:01, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
What?
Perhaps you should look closer at the edits I have done. I was fixing the typos that CambrideBayWeather had pointed(The ones we were in consensus with thatwere wrong). Licinius

Good work
You seem to be committed to making Wikipedia better (and try to uphold a npov). :)
I see that your wife is from Nazret/Adama. Out of curiosity, is your wife Oromo?

Alliance for the Restoration of Peace and Counter-Terrorism
Thanks for tweaking the category on Alliance for the Restoration of Peace and Counter-Terrorism. I am unclear on what this group is... rebel group? Government militia? Any clarification on this is appreciated. If you're interested in Africa, you may be interested in joining Wikipedia:WikiProject Chad. Thanks. KI 21:08, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

Darod & Hawiye
I blocked 80.217.152.161 for a week over his last edits to Hawiye. See this. It looked OK so I left it in but moved the comments to the talk page. Then 64.40.46.244 had a go at Darod. I think I got it back OK but I was no to sure about the list of notable people so can you look and see that I got them correct. Thanks. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 01:36, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Second Italo-Abyssinian War
Sorry about adding to that article without citations its just that I did a course about the Second Italo-Abyssinian War over the weekend where I learned that War Crimes were commited on both sides. I did not bring any of the information home with me so cannot cite my sources but I find it frustrting tht the article is so one-sided. It seems to be saying that the Italians were bad and the Abyssinians were good. Before the Italians invaded, Abyssinia was an empire which was ruled by an ethnic minority so it did not necessarily make things any different for the majority of people (not that this is justifying the invasion). Is there anything that can be done? (As you can probably tell I am a novice at using Wikipedia) {-- Sarah 20:30, 7 March 2006 (UTC)sezziemezzie
Thanks. I guess I was just trying to say that Italy's war crimes may have been in response to Abyssinian war crimes such as using dum dum bullets against Italian planes and torturing surrendered Italian prisoners. Unfortunately, I have lost my written source on it cos I'm an idiot. I shall try to find out more in the future. I shall also trying to prevent having a rant at myself. --Sarah 18:45, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

I've added that article to the CVU bot watchlist. Also you might want to try putting a message on the article talk page about why the edits aren't appropriate, then you can point to that when reverted. If it gets really bad you can ask for page protection (WP:RFPP). Cheers, Petros471 15:46, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- What you put on the talk page looks great, thanks. Also worth noting, if you need quick action against a particular vandal (after warning them) see WP:AIV, though as you pointed out before that can be very difficult if IP addresses keep changing. Petros471 17:01, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Oops, sorry for treating you like a newbie! I'm not even an admin :) Petros471 17:39, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hi:} I'm not an admin either!. You need to speak to an admin because I dont know all the rules. But I know you are not allowed to alter an image/map. That's why people kept on deleting your map. You either include it as it is or you have to find a different map. Do any of the Somali websites have a better map? Or the UN, OAU, World Bank, Institute of Strategic Studies, charities, etc?
