Farnborough International Airshow

The Farnborough International Exhibition and Flying Display is an international trade fair for the aerospace business. It is held at Farnborough Airfield near Farnborough, Hampshire in England every even year, alternating with the Paris Air Show. The next show will be held 19th July25th July 2004.

Farnborough International is a commercial air show, organised by the British aerospace industry's body the Society of British Aerospace Companies whose main purpose is to demonstrate military and civilian aircraft to potential customers. It is one of the most prestigious in the world.

The Farnborough Airshow is one of the world's biggest arms fair, and this can be viewed as contradictory to the fun family day out it is sometimes portrayed as. At each Airshow, CAAT mount a vigil and protest.
