Chevelle is a rock band from Chicago composed of three brothers with the surname Loeffler. Pete Loeffler is the guitarist and lead singer, Sam Loeffler is the drummer, and Joe Loeffler is the bassist. They formed in 1995 and broke out in 2002 with their signature song "The Red."

Originally signed to Squint Entertainment, Chevelle is now signed to Epic Records.

The Chevrolet Chevelle was a mid-size car produced in the United States. The band was probably named after it.
