Andaz Apna Apna is a Bollywood movie directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, starring Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon and Karishma Kapoor. Shakti Kapoor plays the role of 'Crime Master Gogo'. The film was released in 1994 and was a success in India. The title means "Everyone has their own style" in English.

Synopsis

Template:Spoiler

Amar and Prem are two village neer-do-wells who dream of making it rich without working for it -- by marrying wealth. They meet on a bus and discover that they are both out to woo the daughter of Ram Gopal Bajaj, a millionaire businessman. They join forces to insinuate themselves into the heiress' household.

Even though Amar finally succeeds in making the heiress fall in love with him, she confesses that she is impersonating the actual heiress; the true heiress is the woman who is pretending to be her secretary. Prem has already won the pretend secretary's affections.

The movie has lots of memorable characters including a double role by Paresh Rawal, who plays the heroine's uncle (Ram Gopal Bajaj) as well as the bad guy/evil twin brother (Shyam Gopal Bajaj aka Teja). Paresh Rawal has shown an amazing comic timing in this movie and manages to steal the show (he seems to be making a habit of this in recent times). There are a couple of henchmen, Robert and Bhalla, who are shown to be complete nitwits, but keep wondering "why bad guys are depicted as stupid in Hindi movies". There is also "crime master" Gogo, played by Shakti Kapoor, who joins in an "epic" fight in the end with Salman Khan.

Trivia

The movie is reported to have taken over five years to film. It is said that Aamir and Salman found it difficult to work together.
