Arash Labaf (b. 1977), known simply as Arash, is a rising Persian (Iranian) singer. He rose to popularity in September 2004, when he released the hit "Boro Boro". He currently lives in Sweden. He has had many hits, such as Tike Tike, Temptation, and Arash. He's been top of the charts in Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, Sweden, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. He has gone gold in 5 countries : Germany, Russia, Slovenia and Greece for his album, Arash Arash, and in Sweden for Boro Boro. He was the main act at the MTV Beach Party and now needs bodyguards in some countries. He can not currently perfom in his much-loved home country, Iran, due to political reasons, however it is possible he can return as a visitor.

He was born in Tehran, and moved to Sweden when he was 10. Arash has definitely introduced a new kind of music to the world, which is appealing to the audience with different tastes in the Middle East, Europe, India and in many other areas in the world. He has collaborated with many other artists, such as Ebi, Aneela Mirza and DJ Aligator (Ali).
