Carlson Twins
Kyle and Lane Carlson (b. December 24, 1978 in Stillwater, Minnesota United States) are identical twins and models. Lane is the elder of the two, born six minutes earlier than Kyle. They are better known as the Carlson Twins.
The Carlson Twins grew up in a large family with two older siblings, Aaron and Michelle, and a younger sister, Lynnaya. They went to the Stillwater High School and later both graduated from Winona State University. They began their modeling career when Lane was noticed in a mall in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, and have since become successful models across the world following predecessors like the Brewer twins.
Although they have worked for companies such as Armani and Out magazine, they are still best associated with their work for Abercrombie and Fitch (Spring Break, 2001), including photographs by Bruce Weber. The homoerotic content of some of their full-frontal nude pictures together (by Weber) led to the twins, later in their career, taking legal action to remove these photographs from as many websites as possible. While these pictures are subtler than ones of the Brewer Twins, a famous one depicts them in a loving posture while their penises almost touch each other. They were introduced as the hottest gay icons on VH1's Totally Gay. However, as sexual orientations go, they both happen to be straight.
Other than their modeling career, the twins also co-own a construction company, Carlson Construction Services, with their father, a general contractor. The twins now reside in Los Angeles in order to continue pursuing their modeling and acting career.
