Rock for Light is the third full-length album from hardcore punk & reggae pioneers Bad Brains. It was produced by Ric Ocasek of The Cars.

The album contains a number of re-recorded classics from the band's self-titled second album, released the previous year, as well as a number of band new hardcore punk and mellow reggae originals. It would be the last Bad Brains album to exclusively feature only these two styles of music, as the band would eventually experiment with funk, soul, and heavy metal.

It would be the band's last album for three years as the Bad Brains would break up after its release for the first of several times throughout their career.
