Wikipedia:Peer review/Guidelines
This page contains requests for peer review from Wikipedians who need your help. A request on this page exposes the relevant article to much better scrutiny than it would otherwise obtain, without filling featured article candidates with nominations that need work.
One of the goals of this page is to help reach featured article status. See Style and How-to Directory for advice on writing great articles.
Please note that "Peer review" is one of the Wikipedia collaborative edition mechanisms. Please use the appropriate one to obtain faster response from specialized contributors: Template:List of collaborative edition mechanisms
Anyone can request peer review here. When posting your request, include a brief description of the kind of comments / contributions you want, and sections of the article you think need to be reviewed. After a month, your request will be removed to make space for others.
How to respond to a request for contribution:
- Scan the list of requests below, and if one catches your fancy, follow the link to the article and read it. If you think something's wrong with the article, i.e., it's too long, there's no lead section, poor grammar/spelling, factual errors, etc., post a comment in the appropriate section on this page. For examples, see featured article candidates.
- Better still, if you have the time to do so, fix the error yourself.
You are invited to move requests older than a month or without dates to Peer review (to be deleted); if you do not see a request you posted some time ago, you may find it there.
