My interests lie in sundry areas of pointless knowledge, including, but not necessarily limited to baseball and the Cleveland Indians, film (particularly film noir), hard-boiled fiction, snooty postmodern fiction a la Thomas Pynchon, Don DeLillo, and David Foster Wallace, and traditional American music, including bluegrass music, old time music, and acoustic Delta blues.
