Apperently Licide is the name of a village that was wiped out completely by the Nazi's during WWII. A reference to it can be found in Albert Camus' The Rebel in which is told that this vilage was the scene of a massacre followed by the complete destruction and removal of the village in such extreme that the landscape would not even show that there ever was a village at that place. Source of the reference suggests Licide was a French village.

A quick internet search didn't turn up any additional information. Could anyone add more information ?
