A Bachelor of Applied Science is an undergraduate academic degree awarded for a course of study that generally lasts three years in the UK or four or five years in North America.

A Bachelor of Applied Science usually requires a student to take a majority of their courses (usually 3/4) in the applied sciences, specializing in a specific area, such as

A graduate of a Bachelor of Applied Science program receives the designation BAS or B.ASc. for a major degree and BAS (Hon.) or B.ASc. (Hon.) for an honours degree.
