Ron Clark

Ron Clark is an American teacher who has worked with disadvantaged students in rural North Carolina and in inner-city Harlem. His efforts and dedication to his pupils have brought him to the White House on 3 occasions to be honoured by the president. In 2000 he was awarded Disney's American Teacher of the Year.

The first year Ron Clark spent in Harlem has been turned into a movie starring Matthew Perry.

Ron has written two popular books, the first, called 'The Essential 55', is being published in 25 countries.

Ron has now opened his own school, 'The Ron Clark Academy', were students follow a unique curriculum that is based on travel around the world.
