Mokap is a character from the Mortal Kombat fighting game series.

Trivia

  • His staus within the MK storyline is uncertain. He appears to be part of the canon plot without actually being involved with the main events themselves.
  • Mokap's name is short for motion capture, as in the devices used by the actors to capture the movements of characters in the game. Lightbulbs are shown in the dark to show movements implemented into a fighter which is a joke in the name and creation of Mokap(motion capture).
  • He is a tribute to Carlos Pesina.
  • Mokap also had a cameo appearance (like most characters from the series) in the game Mortal Kombat: Deception. His presence is mainly humorous: with no lines at all, the only possible interaction with the player is by being struck (he drops money when this happens). He appears in the realm of Order and if hit, will unlock martial art video. He can also be seen in the realm of Chaos, after you hide the map to Earthrealm in the temple. Once you do that, Mokap will ask you to get the map for him. Punch him here, and he will respond, saying, "OH! MY BALLS!"
  • His presence as a secret character in Deadly Alliance was not met with great enthusiasm by fans.
