Chuncheon, Adminship, My new sig
Let's merge them into Chuncheon. --Sewing 13:28, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Hi again, Kokiri: Taku changed his mind and decided to support my nomination for adminship! David's already noted it, and I've already thanked Taku on the RfA and on his talk page -山道子 (Sewing) - talk 15:55, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
P.S.: What do you think of my new signature? There is an explanation here. -山道子 (Sewing) - talk 17:04, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
I'm just looking at Chuncheon now. That's fantastic news from Taku! We'll have to give him credit for that!... Thanks for explaining your signature; you're getting philosophical (see also: User:Menchi ;-). Do I have to explain my name, now, too? Well, before you ask, it's probably my favourite word because of the sound...
Have you any desire to look at Goguryeo? It needs cleanup. Kokiri 17:12, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- ...And its long trunk is useful for eating peanuts, too....
- ...As for Goguryeo, oy, that one will be tough...do you mean just cleaning up, or do you mean wholesale revision? Both points of view have to be respected.... -山道子 (Sewing) - talk 17:19, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- ...I think the only necessary change to that page is merging the tables of rulers, so that the Mandarin and Korean names are in the same tables. Plus adding a bilingual name table, of course! -山道子 (Sewing) - talk 17:27, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- ...By the way, what happened to the 象 you used to sign with? I was able to edit my signature in "preferences," so that I don't have to do it manually every time.... -山道子 (Sewing) - talk 17:31, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Well, I listed it on Wikipedia:Cleanup. Of course both sides will have to be there. So, I agree with your suggestions.
I've just thought we might change {{korean}} so it invites people to join in and help with Korea-related topics, such as by adding Currently we're adding Korean info boxes (still haven't got the hang how you call them ;-) or You can help adding Hangul & Hanja to info boxes... Kokiri 17:33, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
P.S. The 象 I only used for a short time. I might use it again... 17:35, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- I already saw and added a comment to your entry on Wikipedia:Cleanup. I like your idea of updating the {{korean}} message, but like you, I don't know exactly how to word it. "Korean name table" sounds stuffy and pompous, but "Info box" sounds to vague and informal.... Should we create a Wikiproject page to keep track of everything? I think that would just be extra work, though, to maintain that page too! Anyhow, the message should probably link to either the article template (with instructions: see the article's history), or to the Korean naming conventions "Korean Name Tables" section. -山道子 (Sewing) - talk 17:42, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
I was thinking of a Project for almost a year now, but it doesn't give you the benefit of You've got messages (or whatever that yellow box actually says). It'd be just another page to check... Kokiri 17:51, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- What do you think? (But it's missing the clipboard...) -山道子 (Sewing) - talk 18:35, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Template:Korean requires
|hangul=
parameter.
- Well, I just added an edit link, for the Wikipedia spirit ;-) Kokiri 18:45, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
