Lists of animated feature films
Appearance
This is a list of animated feature films from around the world organised chronologically by year. In order to qualify for this list, films must be over 40 minutes long and have animation in at least 75% of their running time, or have at least 40 minutes of animation in total.
Although the current Academy standard is a minimum of 70 minutes, this list chooses to use the BFI, AMPAS and AFI definitions of a feature film (according to the current Academy standard, Disney's Dumbo would be classified as an animated short).
