Rodney Hampton

Rodney Hampton (born 1969 - ) was a running back with an eight year career. Nicknamed "Rushin' Rodney," Hampton played from 1990 to 1997 with the New York Giants. His 6,897 career rushing yards stood as the most in Giants history until Tiki Barber surpassed that mark in the 2004 NFL season.

He was named to the Pro Bowl team twice (1992 and 1993).


Rodney Hampton (born 1970 - ) is the 2006 Democratic candidate for the Michigan State House of Representatives in the 93rd District (Clinton County, Michigan and Gratiot County, Michigan).
