Mikołaj Sienicki (ap.1521-1582) of Bończa coat of arms was a noble (szlachcic) of the Kingdom of Poland. He held the office of podkomorzy of Chełm and was a notable politician of his period. He was considered one of the best Polish political orators and held the title of marshal of the Sejm several times. A Protestant, near the end of his life he became a Polish Brethren and one of the major initators and contributors of the Warsaw Confederation, which introduced to the new Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth laws of religious tolerance on a scale unimaginable in contemporary Euripe.
