Template:Austlocalgovtarea The City of Rockdale is a Local Government Area in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Located 11km SSW of the Sydney central business district on the western shores of Botany Bay, the city is part of the St George area which contains Rockdale, Hurstville and Kogarah. It is also part of the South-eastern Sydney region.
