Liú Xiàng (Chinese: 劉向 / 刘向; Wade–Giles: Liu Hsiang, 77 - 6 BC), born in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, is the attributed author of Stratagems of the Warring States. And the first editor of the Classic of the Seas and Mountains, including a few other Confucian classics.

His son, Liu Xin, also developed the first and earliest complete list of zodiacal positions of the sun for the twenty-four solar periods in the Three Revolutions Calendar.
