Hi, welcome to wikipedia. I am not sure how to do disambiguation pages, but your idea for an article on "cultural behavior" (or perhaps "culture and behavior") with a link to the article on culture sounds fine -- and it is easy to put in a link. just insert "see Culture and behavior" or whatever, then click on the link and insert the article.

Nevertheless, I still stand by m comments on the essay: it has much valuable content but I think that before it can make a good article, it needs a lot of NPOV work, namely, ascribing specific arguments or elements of arguments to their proponents, and acknowledging debates in the field. Slrubenstein

Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you don't mind me creating an article for Culture theory in lieu of an article on Culture and behavior. I was quite impressed with the quality of that content, but I echo the concerns expressed by Slrubenstein in re NPOV, and I think it would be best to include the content you wrote in an article which discusses culture theory in a more holistic context and presents alternative viewpoints. -- NetEsq 20:03 Jan 4, 2003 (UTC)

Hi. Yes, no problem go with Culture theory. There was a bit of conflict as i tried to create another entry but it's been sorted. This is based on my Anthropology notes, and represents what I've learned. As far as NPOV, if it's an issue of wording, I can try to sort that out. You are all invited to help. Theanthrope

excuse me, but your anthropology notes from where/what? I assumed you have done serious research on currend debates over the use of the word "culture" and cultural theory, no? Slrubenstein

Notes from various courses and lectures. Why do you ask? Is my credibility being called into question? Theanthrope

No, sorry -- not your credibility. But perhaps your preparation. I guess I was just responding to the vagueness of your statement, "just what I have learned" -- I mean, everyone here contributes based only on what they have learned. And nobody knows everything. My point is: the thing about NPOV is not just a matter of wording (although that certainly is part of it); it is about situating knowledge clearly. Slrubenstein

I'll try to ascribe the various arguments to their sources as time permits. In the meantime you are welcome to add links to researcher or schools of thought that you recognize. I apologize for the incompleteness or lack of preparation. I'll do my best to remedy this when I can. Theanthrope

cool!
