Welcome
Hello Loompyloompy313, and welcome. I see that you have edited articles on Illinois and the Chicago area and thought you might be interested in joining WikiProject Chicago or WikiProject Illinois.
While I am at it, here are a few more good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically inserts your name and the current date when you save the edit. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. -- DS1953 talk 06:10, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

VERITAS
Hi - I've switched VERITAS to be a public company, just like IBM, Sun Microsystems, Google, and any other company listed on the NASDAQ. I think you may have misunderstood the private/public company terminology. --Oscarthecat 19:58, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
- Its okay, I'm still kinda confused about it. No problem. 24.12.218.59 17:46, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Unrelated Note
I just thought of something. When I was updating some articles about a company that changed and correcting errors, should there be a team similar to the Counter-Vandalism Unit?. I would call it the Correction Updating Team. Or create a Wikimedia Department of Corrections-AntiVandalism and have all groups be under it. Just a thought. --Loompyloompy313 00:19, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
