Hi
If you disagree that the person is not notable, do not remove the tag, but follow the instructions with a "hang on" message.
If you develop the article in a way that shows he's notable, it won't be deleted.
Removing tags is vandalism and can get you into trouble....

- Hello Dweller please get a map of Australia out and look at Cammoweal, Queensland, Australia. There is a infomant named Patrick Delaney that lives there. He lectures and also is writing books that will soon be published. If you would like to meet him please fly over to Cammoweal and join a class - — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.137.157.234 (talk • contribs)
- Dweller isn't saying Mr. Delaney doesn't exist, he's merely adhering to Wikipedia inclusion criteria. Please read WP:BIO. Rewriting other people's comments is considered vandalism. Don't edit them to make them say something else than what he intended. - Mgm|(talk) 11:55, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it needs to be band... this man is a very popular informant and will soon have his knowledge passed on to the world... Why do we study dead philosophers... you people are just behind the times I have sorry but you have cut some of his students really deep you just wait till the books come out...
- When the books are published and selling, please do repost. I hope they sell by the truckload; it'll help make the case for notability. No-one's suggesting that the page should be deleted because the subject is not interesting, or that his work is less than valuable. The criterion is "notable", as in "well known" or "famous". There are plenty of Wikipedia entries for people or phenomena that are entirely useless (try Crazy Frog) but are known to millions of people.
- And showing your displeasure by repeatedly breaking Wikipedia's rules and ignoring suggestions and then warnings about your behaviour didnt make it any more likely that your case would receive a sympathetic reception. Dweller 14:37, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
I don't want a sympathetic reception I want the facts man. Also you changed the total South Americans and Aztecs killed by the Catholic Spainish on the "List of wars and disasters by death toll" and I got that information of wikipedia on the "Aztec" link. So I am sorry if you, yourself are making mistakes. All we want is the facts and the people in Mount Isa and Cammoweal even the WORLD are not getting them.
- You want facts? OK...
- Fact. He's sold no books.
- Fact. I have never edited the page List of wars and disasters by death toll
- Fact. Demonstrate that the bloke is notable and no-one will have a problem with the article
- Fact. Vandalising doesn't win friends and influence people.
