Vinod Mehra

Vinod Mehra (1950 - 1990) is an Indian actor, who did most of his films from 1970 to 1996 . He was seen in many multi-starrer films, working with actors like Amitabh Bachhan, Sanjeev Kumar, etc. Some of his promient films are Amar Prem, Swarg Narak, Khud-daar, Anurodh, Bemisaal Sabse Bada Rupaiya and Ghar.

He had turned director with the film Gurudev, but he died before the completion of the film at the age of 45 in 1990. The film was released in 1993 after Raj Sippy completed the remaining shooting that needed to be done.

Some of his delayed films including Insaniyat and Aatank released after his death in 1994 and 1996 respectively

He was married to actress Rekha in the 70's. Then he married actress Neeta Mehta in the 80s till his death. His 3rd wife was Bindiya Goswamy. ( who is now married to director J.P. Dutta)
