The Partridge Family was a sitcom about a widowed mother and her five children who traveled around in a bus to different venues to perform songs.

The Partridge Family was made in the year 1970 and ran until 1974. It starred Shirley Jones and David Cassidy along with Susan Dey, Danny Bonaduce, Jeremy Gelbwaks (later replaced by Brian Forster) and Suzanne Crough. The story was loosely based around the Cowsills who were a real singing family. Their biggest hit was in 1970 with the song "I Think I Love You" (lyrics: [1]). They had an album that followed which was in the top 100.

The Partridge Family lasted for four years until David Cassidy decided he just didn't want to be Keith Partridge anymore. The show was cancelled after 96 episodes and 9 albums.
