Peninsula in southern Slovenia and northwestern Croatia, in the north of of the Adriatic Sea. Important towns include Pula/Pola, Poreč/Parenzo, Rovinj/Rovigno, Pazin/Pisino, Labin/Albona, Motovun/Montona, Buzet/Pinguente and Buje/Buie.
