MrSmith85 is the username of Wikipedian John W. He is writing his Wikipedia userpage in the third person for added gravitas.

Biography

John was born in San Diego, California in 1985. He has since lived in Chico, California and Sacramento, California and now resides in Berkeley, California. He is a senior at the University of California, Berkeley pursuing a BA in history. John will be taking the LSAT this fall and applying to law school. Advice or suggestions concerning that matter are welcomed by him.

Political Philosophy

John is both a social and a fiscal liberal and a member of the Green Party. Issues that especially concern him are environmental protection, gun control and free speech. He attempted for less than one year to become a vegetarian but it just didn't work because carne asada is too delicious - although he does empathize with the deceased cow whilst consuming said carne asada.

Wikipedia Philosophy

John doesn't edit excessively and usually just corrects type-o's, but he does plan to contribute to articles about American history (his area of expertise) as the opportunities arise. If he creates an article it is likely because the subject matter is of local significance, being something in or around his hometown with which he has had personal experience or something related to the history of California, which is his specialty.
