Wikipedia:Cleanup
Cleanup calendar : Newest | Earlier this month | August | July | Old | Instructions
Please read Wikipedia:Cleanup process for instructions on maintaining this page. There may be more suitable pages for requests, see the resources for collaboration box on the right.
For articles that just need wikification, you should use the {{wikify}} template. See Category:Articles that need to be wikified for articles that need wikifying.
If an article needs further cleaning up, add {{cleanup}} to the top of the article. To see articles with this tag added, see Category:Cleanup
Some editors prefer that helpers work on leftovers and older articles, just to deal with them and get them out of the way. See the cleanup calendar for requests from previous months. But either preference, new or old; all help is appreciated. If you have a cleanup routine, add your name and your routine preferences (how often, old/new articles, what subjects, etc ) to the cleanup routine list.

- Honda Type-R- Article obviously written by a British Honda fan. Too much opinion, lists only British-market Type-Rs (ie. no Japanese NSX Type-R or US Acura Integra Type-R)

- Plant improvement was poorly translated from Italian, received a little bit of further work, but has been sitting quite a while at Wikipedia:Pages_needing_translation_into_English#Translated_pages_that_could_still_use_some_cleanup. At this point it clearly needs work more from someone with a background in biology or even genetic engineering than from a translator. - Tandag, Surigao del Sur needs some serious work. --Lancevortex
- WP's suite of Fatima articles at least violates the principle of non-surprising redirects, and may need a lapsed Catholic with a free month to edit it.
- Fatima vidents (sic as to case) is a redir to
- Our Lady of Fatima (is that the least PoV title available?) which does not contain, case-insensitively, even the string "vide".
- List of people by name: Vi-Vk#Vid links the redir, without a word of explanation, piping it as if "vidents" is a surname (upcasing the "v", as many editors would in a list, e.g. Van Loon, Hendrik Willem at List of people by name: Va-Vd#Van L - Van S).
- List of Portuguese people#Saints (yeah, i suppose that should be the first heading, since i think of Judeans and Italians first when i say "Portuguese people") links thusly:
- Fatima vidents (1917 Our Lady aparitions in Fátima)
- and i suppose there's no more PoV in labelling "aparitions" as real people than Vishnu -- well, sorry, bad example, he's a god, so he's not listed on the LoPbN tree; a better example would be Krishna -- well, i guess even tho he's incarnated, he's still a god and not there either; let's use Arjuna; he's mortal, and just meets Krishna, so of course he's on List of people by name: Ar#Ari-Arl -- oh, hell, look, the person the little girls met is just as NPoV real as the cops who raped Tawana Brawley, right? [end of nomination rant] - I can't quite understand the complaint here. Is it that Fatima vidents (essentially Latin for "seers of Fatima") is a bad redirect? Why not just nominate it for deletion and wipe out all reference to it?
- Runescape mining - unwikified. Possibly redirect and merge into Runescape? RickK 21:14, Sep 13, 2004 (UTC)
- Kenny Foggo - unwikified, no sentences. RickK 20:34, Sep 13, 2004 (UTC)

- Charles Young - copied from http://www.cr.nps.gov/history/online_books/sontag/young.htm, which is a government site and therefore public domain, but the text paste is unwikified. RickK
- Wikified, although I would like to see if anyone can find better substitutes for the articles I linked to, 1/2 of them are red. KirbyMeister
- Rose Wilder Lane - a book! Massive paragraphs, needs headers. RickK
- Sheesh! It needs to be shorter. I've reverted it to a well-written earlier version one screen long, plus retained the bibliography. That still leaves the entry a lot longer than George Eliot or Joseph Heller :-(. Bishonen 17:18, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Same thing for Laura Ingalls Wilder. RickK
- Don't want to deal with this entry as boldly as with Lane, since Wilder is a lot more famous, and also there is no one-screen version to revert to: Wilder has been expanded from stubhood in one giant leap. Bishonen 17:18, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I've cleaned it up a little, but it is a how-to article for protecting your computer and recommends specific software to the reader.
