Cleanup calendar : Newest | Earlier this month | August | July | Old | Instructions

Please read Wikipedia:Cleanup process for instructions on maintaining this page. There may be more suitable pages for requests, see the resources for collaboration box on the right.

For articles that just need wikification, you should use the wikify template. See Category:Articles that need to be wikified for articles that need wikifying.

If an article needs further cleaning up, add cleanup to the top of the article. To see articles with this tag added, see Category:Cleanup

Some editors prefer that helpers work on leftovers and older articles, just to deal with them and get them out of the way. See the cleanup calendar for requests from previous months. But either preference, new or old; all help is appreciated. If you have a cleanup routine, add your name and your routine preferences (how often, old/new articles, what subjects, etc ) to the cleanup routine list.

• Julie Billiart - Needs to be divided into subsections, it is mostly just one big text now. - Kooo
• Entropy (ecology)
• Note from its talk page: "The translation is complete, but I do not quite follow the mathematical derivation. There seems to be inconsistencies in the indices and even the assumptions, and I do not have enough knowledge in this field to make the corrections. Experts please help. Felix Wan 23:17, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)" -- copied here by Jmabel 21:24, Sep 16, 2004 (UTC)
• Phyllodactylus lepidopygus needs better citations. Remarks on what's needed are in the text of the article as comments. -- Jmabel 21:14, Sep 16, 2004 (UTC)
• Daruvar - Too much like tourist guide. Peter O. (Talk) 21:04, Sep 16, 2004 (UTC)
• K Foundation art award - needs formatting, a more encyclopedic tone, and maybe some paring down? Spatch
• Honda Type-R- Article obviously written by a British Honda fan. Too much opinion, lists only British-market Type-Rs (ie. no Japanese NSX Type-R or US Acura Integra Type-R)
• Perhaps a rename to Honda Type-R (UK) is all this article needs? Further discussion appropriate on its talk page, I think. -- sabre23t 00:32, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)
• Arudou Debito - fmt; evaluate notability (i.e., VfD?)
• JFET: language in article is a bit too technical; needs a good copyedit. - dcljr
• I found JFET eminently readable, with no cleanup needed, but I am an electrical engineer, thus I understand the technical terms without further clarification. It may need some more wikilinks to clarify the terms for non-EEs. — Joe Kress 21:24, Sep 16, 2004 (UTC)
• The Sixth Sense. The text needs tidying up so it is clearer.
• Government College University - Anyone from Pakistan want to write about this U.?
• Sol (colloid) - Biochemistry, I think.
• Baculum - More penile content.
• Steve Wright - Aside from all the other famous ones, this one is a British TV guy, needs content.
• Panathinaikos FC (Greek football club): Too many historical details. Too less real information about the club (titles, records, etc). Overcrowded page for no reason. "Too many trees are hiding the forest". MathKnight
• The In-Laws - the second paragraph needs NPOV from someone who knows more about movies that I do
• Hwfaq - good grief, this is a messy article. I've tied up the related Madshrimps article, but this is just incomprehensible. If it can't be cleaned up, I really think it merits deletion. Katherine Shaw - Already on VfD and losing badly. Geogre
• General Certificate of Education - suddenly mentions Singapore at the bottom of the article and is linked to (and from) Education in Singapore. Don't know anything about their education system so I don't really want to tackle this myself. violet/riga (t)
• Manuel Chabrera - about an artist; sounds very breathless, could be good if punctuated, formatted and wikified properly! Katherine Shaw
• Goatman (cryptozoology) - yet another cryptozoology page, what's going on with these? cohesion
• Pact_of_San_Sebasti%E1n - translation from Spanish
• Yes, I translated it from Spanish. And the problem with this is...? (Please ping my talk page or that of the article). -- Jmabel 21:17, Sep 16, 2004 (UTC)
• American Union of Men - notable? Maybe vfd? Anyway, unwikified. RickK
• Markaz - needs rephrasing in better English, preferably by someone who knows something about India. JamesMLane
• Joel Silver - producer credits is a huge unwikified list which looks to me to be an IMDb copyvio. —Stormie cleaned up - Whosyourjudas 02:46, 17 Sep 2004 (UTC)
• Henry Cobham - semi-coherent genealogical info (I'm not even sure if this article is about one person or several). —Stormie
• Nova Maree Peris-Kneebone--verify? Meelar (talk)
• Oh, it's correct.. it's an unwikified substub, but she did win those medals (Hockey gold at Atlanta Olympics, 200m gold at Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games). —Stormie
• List of radio stations in Distrito Federal was on Speedy but this contains factual info, is it useful? —Morven

It turns out that Sri Deep Narayan Mahaprabhuji is copyvio. I've listed it as such. SWAdair | Talk 07:42, 16 Sep 2004 (UTC)
So is Dharmsamrat Paramhans Swami Madhavanandaji. Susvolans 16:00, 16 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Well, the AMG derived material is now in. Probably doesn't need much more, but a 2nd source would be nice. Geogre 14:16, 15 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Improved somewhat - could do with additional detail. Jackiespeel 14:19, 15 Sep 2004 (UTC)
• United States Constabulary - straight dump of a US Government source text into Wikipedia. Needs Wikification, tidying, editing for length/NPOV, fact checking against more modern sources (this is a 1947 document).

Fatima vidents (1917 Our Lady aparitions in Fátima)
and i suppose there's no more PoV in labelling "aparitions" as real people than Vishnu -- well, sorry, bad example, he's a god, so he's not listed on the LoPbN tree; a better example would be Krishna -- well, i guess even tho he's incarnated, he's still a god and not there either; let's use Arjuna; he's mortal, and just meets Krishna, so of course he's on List of people by name: Ar#Ari-Arl -- oh, hell, look, the person the little girls met is just as NPoV real as the cops who raped Tawana Brawley, right? [end of nomination rant] - I can't quite understand the complaint here. Is it that Fatima vidents (essentially Latin for "seers of Fatima") is a bad redirect? Why not just nominate it for deletion and wipe out all reference to it?
