Ex porn-star Andrea Dworkin is a vocal critic of the porn industry. Although previously famous for her part as a 'victim' in simulated rape scenes, she has made a new name for herself defending the rights and role of women in the industry. "women must be allowed to chose whether they should take part in these activities, but if they do so, they must be adequately rewarded and protected" (UK Guardian, 1998)
