Asahi Kasei Corporation (旭化成) (TYO: 3407) is a Japanese company. The main products are chemicals and in materials science. The company has around 25,000 employees and consolidated sales of US$10 billion. It was founded in 1931, and has it's headquarters in Osaka, with offices in Tokyo, China, U.S.A. and Germany. It is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and is part of the Nikkei 225 index.
