30 Seconds to Mars

PLEASE start researching the information you put up before you edit the page. Numerous pieces of information you have posted have been incorrect. If you must, start a discussion on the talk pages about it. Thanks for the help! Enfestid 20:29, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

*Hopes this is how to send a reply*

Thing is, I did. I've seen stuff that supports what I edited. I guess it's possible that it's inaccurate, but here:

That Beautiful Lie [Advance] thing I mentioned:

http://www.google.com/musicl?lid=bvXOsl1787K&aid=8HqyKaZMAHM

I've listened to the hidden track and it's exactly the same as that last part of 'Year Zero'.

For that 'Anarchy in Tokyo' thing:

http://music.allofmp3.com/r2/30_Seconds_To_Mars/30_Seconds_To_Mars/group_12156/album_500/mcatalog.shtml?albref=25

Both of those are incorrect. The last song on the debut album most people just refer to as a transmission, and it is most definitely not Anarchy In Tokyo -- a song that can be found on the internet (some Myspace 30STM fansite, I believe). And the order of the listing of the advance is incorrect, as I have the advance. Most albums have advances -- it's just something for publicity for reviewers of the album, for business executies, etc. It may or may not be the final copy.

Another thing, I've downloaded a version of 'A Modern Myth' from a P2P. Though it's true that P2P downloads are almost always a few seconds off, this one's 14:14 long. And it's not (just) a large empty space. It's silence until the last 1:44 or so. Then, Leto will start singing...something, and there'll be some drum playing (and it's not a fan-made add-in, it's definitely Leto). Is this official?
The Wretched
That's nothing. It's just a small live cut of a track -- nothing special. Yes, it is the band, and yes, it's official. It was just something on the advance version as a place holder before the final album.

KOTOR possible future live-action series

Thanks for contributing to the Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) article, but I've removed the section about the live action series, as generally speculations aren't included in articles. However, if you could show a link or source from where you found this information, it could perhaps be included. Sorry, I'd rather not remove contributions, but I'd need to see where you found this before including it. – Xolatron 19:55, 24 Telona 2006 (25 May) 19:55, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I found it here: Star Wars Live-Action TV Series Facts

Scroll down a bit until you find a link to the KotOR article or just read it until you come to it.

It's nothing really major. I'm just relocating all content to Reborn (Star Wars) since Reborn were not called 'Reborn Jedi'.

Naruto!

Hi The Wretched. I appreciate your improvements to the Naruto article, thanks! ~MDD4696 15:26, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No prob. :)

  • Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. The same could go for you. I'll keep the English names for the Villages, but leave the Akatsuki section alone. I made it like this 'cause this dude named The Gash or something said that one of the reasons that this arcticle fell out of FA is because it sounded awkward at the end.

Naruto articles

I am asking nicely that you desist from moving articles to Japanese titles to suit your own preferences. This is the English Wikipedia. If there is an English translation for the title, you use it. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 04:15, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That seems inconsistent with the fact that the articles linking to Naruto geography (such as Hi no Kuni) use the Japanese names instead of the translations.

The Wretched
I don't care that some articles are messed up, it doesn't allow you to mess up others. To be honest, I'm working on straightening them out. However, your method of moving pages is entirely unacceptable, as it destroys the edit history and makes a mess of the system. Do not make any moves like that again. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 04:20, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, no need to be a drama queen about it. And don't be hypocritical about my preferences. Your working on it under your preferences also. And what's this about destroying stuff and messing up systems? Either you're being overly dramatic about it, or something's wrong with your comp. Over here, everything's fine. Wikipedia's not having any difficulties.
The Wretched
You misunderstand my meaning. By destroying edit histories, I do not mean something so literal as breaking the system. I mean you are separating the edit histories and making individual edits harder to track. Also, this isn't preferences, it's a guideline. Not everyone speaks Japanese and they are not likely to go searching for a title in Japanese. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 04:31, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
