Response to "importance?" tag:

The garden is important because it is one of a number of gardens around Falmouth, developed by the Fox family. They have significance in County, Region and nationally (see Wikipedia and ''ODNB'' entries - Caroline, Charles and Robert Were Fox). The garden is open to the public and should not be missed by visitors to mid-Cornwall in April, May and June.

The plantings are magnificent and despite the original author of this article's statement, it is well-cared for, not a "jungle".
